Thanks for the liverc.com info. 9 minute Mini mains! Now I'm really sorry I missed the racing today.

But, my wife woke up sick today, so the decision not to make the drive up there was the right one.

Great day of racing for the Summer Sizzler. 44 Drivers in 5 Classes. Great to have Bill and Tony come up from Missouri and Danny Bartholomew from Iowa as well as the IL gang and the Oshkosh guys. Great looking grove in the carpet to get our Tuesday night racing going this Tuesday.
Thanks to Buck and Nick for running Tech and to Skip for wrenching on my ride so I could race.

Thanks again to all and we hope to see everyone this Tuesday for the start of the indoor nights.

Awesome racing today. I had a great time, and watched some really good racers. Hopefully we can get some more interest in the 1/12th class. Grab a 13.5 and throw down with the rest of us.

There was some very good racing yesterday at the sizzler.. I had a great time and am looking forward to sept 1st.



I hopefully will have my 12th scale ready for that race.

Mini racing at the Sizzler was an absolute blast.

All of the Mini's were within a lap of each other in qualifying. There was three different winners of the qualifying races and the main was won by a fourth racer, Dave the sand bagger Weir

Scotty accidentally forgot to stop our race at 5 minutes (Carl was the 5 minute winner) and let us run a 9 minute race. I vote we run 8 minute mains in all of our future Mini races.

Yea, mini was great. Too bad my attention span doesn't last more than 7 minutes. I think I needed to have my Hooters body on to concentrate better.
