Guess I need to get some new 30's to try. I tested at 3 different tracks with the old ones and can tell you there is a good difference between laptimes. Might have to save up the old ones to lay it down on Otto.

Yes the older 30's were faster then 27's by a fair amount but didnt keep the pace for very long....one of the reasons we didnt use them last year. The "new" 30's are right there with 27's but are lasting a lot longer over the 27's of now.

If you guys havent bought any 27's from "fresh" stock I would suggest trying some out and see how they work now....same thing with 30's. You might be in for a suprize :

What thread are you posting in???? It looks like you can use them in the series Im also fairly sure you can use them at His&Hers and Harbor Hobby if not any of the other tracks to practice which is what you will be doing now anyway.....maybe once tracks start racing for the fall/winter they will allow other tires to be raced? Who knows Trackside might be all Jaco all the time what will we ever do then?

Ottoman - All rubber tires are made in China. The new RP-30's rim is somewhat transparent. The old rim was solid white and stiff.

Default Venue change......Dec 8th

Due to the unfortunate closing of His and Hers we have moved the Dec 8th date to Harbor Hobby Raceway. I wish Bill and his family all the best and hope them make it through everything they are going through.......and I want to Thank Bill for all the support of the series last year and the great times I had at his track.
