Sounds like the Mini Cooper class will be huge. We're talking at least B or C main with 10 car mains... lol. Touring classes also going to be good, especially since most if not all the mini guys are running touring. 1/18th scale will also be good since it already has a good local following. Man those 18R's are fun.

Haven't heard much on 1/12th. Anyone planning on coming for 1/12th scale?

I'm bringing my 12th. No mini for me or micro. I'll be running stock sedan also.

Gary,

The Recoils are cool, but I'm not sure there will be enough of them to have a class for them since they are so new. We only have one local guy that has one, and he's only had it a week or so. We'd like to see you here though, since Rick is coming from Duratrax and all.........

Last time I talked to Allen he was thinking of going ahead and opening the track on Friday from about 5 or 6 through 8 or 9 for people to set up pits and get a few laps. I'll try and get a hold of him to make sure and let everyone know. He was suppose to get back to me by now on the exact time schedule for this weekend, but he was heading to an oval race this weekend so he was preoccupied.

I'll let everyone know what I find out.

We have had anywhere from 3-6 Recoils running every Thursday night up here at Mahomet. How many to make a class? We may be able to make up a class from the ones in the Champaign area alone. I'd go through Allen's website, but everytime I go to his site, both my work computer and my home computer pop up about 10 errors that a virus has been detected. Need to know soon though, so folks can make plans. Thanks!

Not sure what's up. I thought it was just my work computer but it triggered Norton on my home PC as well. On my work computer, as soon as I went to the main page at the end of last week, the screen just exploded with error windows saying, "A virus has been detected."
