we don't have a date set for the opener yet, but we're working on it. most likely, we'll be racing at westgate mall. still need to meet w/ the people who run the mall, to work out some details, but the irons are in the fire......

keep us informed, we'd love to see you guys run a on-road program this year. is it true that westgate laid down some new asphalt?

Marc: Yes, the potential track at Westgate is on a 100% new surface. There are a couple downsides to running at Westgate (date restrictions, bathrooms) that will have to be ironed out. Another option is running our regular program in Verona with once-a-month events at Westgate, which is something I discussed with Brock (at Dockter's in Westgate) last week. The mall may not want us running there as often as we want to.

We have a board meeting this coming Saturday where we will talk about it, and Brock is talking to the Westgate people this week for us.

another option, though perhaps a little far from columbus is reedsburg. We have a nice though fledgeling nitro program there. 1/10 scale, 1/8 buggies, and maxx (or things that look like a maxx) classes. strictly low key, strictly family entertainment. Their link is www.reedsburgracers.com
