There should be no problems with power. Just bring a cord & a power strip if you like. A pit lite might be in order too. I think 12th scale will have a good turnout this year.Personally, I feel it's one of the most underrated classes going right now. Try it out.

STAMPEDES Run on the oval,

this is what I found on the web site:

Traxxas:
Bumpers can extend to outside of the front tires.

Ride height can not be lower than a line parallel to the 180
degree horizontal position of the A arms front and rear.

Stampede and Rustler cars can be used but must have
the stampede rubber tires. Stock motors.

Gear cover must be in place. 6 cell batteries. No restrictions.

Let me clarify that a bit. The class was intended to be a sort of entry level thing, but as always, some took it to the limit, & it's become quite competitive & fun. To keep it as even as possible, a few rules were established. As mentioned, the stock tires are to be used, both old or new style. A-arms level, no lower. Any body can be run, as well as any ROAR legal , stock motor. Some of the guys are strapping the batteries UNDER the chassis, or on the left side to improve handeling. Aftermarket shocks, springs, swaybars & such may also be noticed on some trucks. Looking forward to seeing you.

Is it true that you will be setting up halogen lights in the four corners of the oval to light the track?

I didnt' know it was gonna be a demo-derby??

I don't know that it's needed. No plans to do so. The owner has been working on more lighting. There should be no problems. Demo derby??

That kind of sucks! The first year I raced over there I ran in the 6 cell stock pan car class and took first place and then that class was ilimenated. Last year I ran in the stock truck class and won it, now that one has been taken out to. I guess I had better not win with my 4 cell stock pan car or that class will be taken away too! Ha Ha. Thanks for the info, AL

Again, we're sorry about that. There are a few classes people were hoping for, but unfortunatly, we can 't accomodate everyone. Thats part of a growing problem with this hobby; TOO DAMN MANY CLASSES. At least you've had the opportunity to show all of your talents! Best of luck this y ear.
