The vfw did give me a place to race when there were no other tracks. It was a good place for some fun racing.

Sad to hear the old place has closed. Had a lot of great times racing there over 15 years ago. Hope you find a new place soon and keep your hobby alive.

Sorry to hear of the closeing. We ran at the Cheeseland race a couple of times it was great! At least you have another first class track to run at in Victory Race Way in town.

Default PROSTAR RACING CLUB

I didn't sleep well last nite. Well, it was a good run while it lasted! I dont think there are too many tracks that can say they ran for 20 + years at the same location. I want to say Thanks to any & all racers that showed up over the years. You kept it going, we appreciate it. We will be trying to fix this situation right away, so hang tight for now, we'll keep you posted. The first concern is the WTCS race that was scheduled for Dec. 9th. Victory Hobbies will no doubt pick that up for us. Stay tuned with them regarding that. I don't want the Series to lose an event or momentum. As for the "Cheeser", Stay tuned, we''l see what we can do about that .Thanks again for your support. We are by no means dead yet, just glitching alittle. It's fixable.

Tis is sad news. I always enjoyed racing the VFW. Just so all know, the WTCS committee is looking at the options for replacement of this day. We will inform you as soon as we have something solid.

That sucks no more "W". We all had some good times in the basement. Im sure that a new place shouldnt be hard to find there is plenty of options out there. There is always roller rinks or some spots in some of the malls.

Talk to pat from Wheels N Motion, He still has all of the carpet and boards from our set up. He may be willing to work something out with you guys.

Wheels n Motion is one of our options, but I think he may be soured a bit on the RC scene givin the less than expected turnout he had at recent events. The idea of a facility near Seymour was offered to us, but we think that distance might not go over to well with some racers. Thank you all for your ideas & concern. ProStar loves ya. Happy Thanksgivig.

That is sad to hear. I was looking forward to doing some racing there on the 10th. It was always a good time and a very well run event. AL

I'm going to miss the "W" too. I was trying to "cut my teeth" in 1/12th scale carpet racing there. Now, hopefully the great group of 1/12 scale racers with Pro-Star can keep the class going. I wouldn't want to see the class die.

Does anyone else race 1/12 scale or mostly the Pro-Star group?
