Default Dirt Heaven SPRING BLING!! (Rain Date) July, 29th

The Rain date for the Spring Bling is Saturday, July 29th this is part of the Dash for cash points series!!
There will be a brand new track for this race!!!!
Hope to see you all there Thanks.

Dash for Cash Series Payout:

$5 from each entry in a particular class from every race will be put into the class purse. For example, if there are 30 1/8th scale entries at each of the 6 races, there would be $900 in the purse (30 x 6 x $5) for the 1/8th scale class at the end of the season. All nitro classes will have their own purse, which will be dependent on the number of entries.

At the end of the season, the purse for each class will be divided among the top three points finishers. 50% will go to 1st, 30% to second, and 20% to third. Based on the $900 purse example above, that equates to $450 for 1st, $270 for 2nd, and $180 for 3rd!!!

Classes:

1/8th Scale Nitro Buggy (.21 engine or smaller)

1/8th Scale Unlimited Nitro Truck (Truggy) (no engine limit)

1/8th Scale Monster Truck (Stock, tubular style chassis) (no engine limit)

1/10th Scale Nitro Truck (.12 engine or smaller)

Modified Buggy

Stock Buggy

Modified Truck

Stock Truck

Modified 4WD

Race Schedule/Timetable:

Friday
Shop Hours: 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Track Open: All day to 9:30pm (power and indoor pitting will not be available until the shop opens)

Saturday
Shop Hours: 7:00am to end of racing
Race Registration: 7:00am to 10:45am
Open Practice: 7:00am to 11:00am
Drivers Meeting: 11:10am
Racing Begins: 11:30am

Race Fees:

Friday practice is free!

Nitro: $25 for first class, $20 for 2nd class

Electric: $20 for first class, $15 for 2nd class

Any immediate family member under 18 years of age will receive the 2nd class discount

Race Format:

All electric classes will run 5 minute qualifiers and single mains (no triple A-Mains)

All nitro classes will run 5 minute qualifiers and 7 minute mains for B-Mains and lower

Nitro A-Main event times are as follows:
1/8th Buggy: 20 minutes
1/8th Unlimited Truck: 15 minutes
1/8th Monster Truck: 15 minutes
1/10th Nitro Truck: 15 minutes

2 car bump up for nitro classes (all drivers will be bumped up, however it is the drivers choice if he/she wants to run the next main)

10 car electric mains (up to 2 cars will be added to the lowest main if necessary to prevent a 2 car main)

10 car nitro mains (8 lock in for each main, plus the 2 bump ups) (in the case that only 3 cars would be left for the lowest main, all 3 will automatically be put into the next main for a total of 11 cars in that main)

2 minute break before electric classes, 3 minute break before nitro classes

Points System:

TQ: 2 points

1st: 50 points

2nd: 48 points

3rd: 47 points

4th to 48th: 46 points for 4th, the decreasing by one point per position

49th and below: 1 point

Your best 4 out of 6 races will count towards your final points standings (if there are 2 or more races cancelled due to rain, then all races will count)

Misc Info:

Trophies for top three in each main at EVERY race!

Race order will depend on number of entries in each class and drivers competing in multiple classes.

All nitro A-Mains will be run last.

We use the AMBrc personal transponder counting system with RC Scoring Pro software. Handout transponders are avaialable if you do not have a personal transponder at no additional charges.

Common race rules and racer etique shall be used. This will be gone over in the drivers meetings.

Indoor pitting is available, but limited to 70 people.

If you plan to pit outside, please bring your own chairs, tables, and extension cords.

If it starts to rain and at least one full round has been completed, then the qualifying order will determine the winner. If one full round and part of the second round has been completed, then only those classes that are completed for the second round will have the second round times count. In the case that the race is called during the mains, then mains that are finished will determine the winner, and qualifying order will determine the winner of the remaining classes. No points will be awarded for leading a lap and most laps lead unless the A-Main for that class has been completed.

Entry refunds will be given if the race is cancelled before the first round is complete, and the race will be rescheduled for the appropriate rain date listed. If one full round has been completed and the race is cancelled, no refunds will be given and the race will not be rescheduled.

Free camping is available in the parking lot

The new track layout looks great. Still needs some fine tuning but the layout is in. The elevated pit lane is a great addition. That rythm section is gonna make or brake some people.
