I have tried every method on the internet, if you have the acetone that is the easiest Next is bowling them but the last is the baking just because it smells shit!

I have been removing 1/10 scale tires and reusing them and the wheels for quite awhile, and honestly nothing beats a really good job at gluing them. For me, the best trick is using just enough glue to hold them on, and not getting it down on the flat part of the wheel where it really is hard to undo. I try and just glue the top inner, and top edge where it is tough, but still possible to pull them free if needed. You will need to keep an eye if they start to let go occasionally. After removal I soak the wheels in an acetone bath for a few hours to sometimes overnight. Then clean and reuse...1/8 wheels usually are more difficult, and usually aren't in good enough shape to reuse from my experience...

I like the acetone method but sitting them on something above the liquid. doing this saves the expensive closed cell foams but the downside is it takes a few days to release the glue. the vapors will work just takes longer. but you also save a lot of acetone.
if you want to test your rims and see if you can use this method put a little acetone on a rag and wipe it on the inside of your rim. if the spot feels soft or sticky after a few seconds it will probably melt the rim.

I have found that baking them works the best. I have an old toaster oven that I keep in the garage so it doesn't stink up the house. 300 degrees for 18 minutes and the wheels pop right out. Just make sure to wear gloves because they will be hot.
