Exclamation RC Car Accident - Firestorm Smashes Face VIDEO!

youtu#be/FS857m0lNZI

We go for a run with our new HPI E-Firestorm Flux models. I am recording at the top of the jump...next thing I know, the car smashes into my face. A day to remember for the wrong reasons! You'll notice that my camera takes most of the impact, but I was left with a swollen lip for a few days. It could have been a lot worse!

If you watch closely, just before the car hits me, I take a picture and the screen turns off on the camera I am holding. Here is that picture:

Swap the # for a . for the links to work!

thats a good pick. It took me a while to get the link working. I kept putting the letter a instead of a period. Then I thought and realized it is always bit.ly not bitaly

Its because I haven't made enough posts...it doesnt allow links. I would be nice if a moderator could edit the original post to include proper links/embedding.

Just watched the video. Pretty funny, sounds a bit like Napoleon dynamite.

I think this has happened to the best of us in rc. One time I had my mini revo vxl in a tube slide at the park driving upside down. Turned a little to much and bam, it flew out of the tube slide and straight into my eye. Another time I was driving my rustler vxl and my friend told me to look at his car. I turned my head and watched his car without letting go of the throttle on my car. Next thing I heard was a slapping noise and his brother screaming in pain. I drove over the curb, through his neighbors yard, on the sidewalk, and straight into his shin. He is lucky he upgraded to an rpm bumper instead of the stock skid plate before he sold it to me.

Well, you are lucky it deflected off you and didn't stop dead against your head. You missed a lot of the potential kinetic energy. Still hurt a lot I am sure, but definitely lucky.

EPIC, but why in the world would they be running bikes and R/Cs at the same time. Around my woods if you run R/C at anytime on the bike track you'll have a billy club upside your head quicker than a "New York Minute".

Let's not dive too deeply into the "what if " or "why would they" factor on this one... sometimes it's better to just revel in the ignorance-is-bliss factor

I think the frozen image before the actual video is a thing of beauty myself... let's take a closer look!

Gut hanging out and (I'm guessing here) @ss-crack fully exposed- check.

Stink-face (trying to comprehend what is about to happen)- check.

Nitro truck within nano-seconds of full impact- check.

What more could you ask for ???
