Default RC Soup's CR01 Charity Raffle is now LIVE

Hey guys, thought I'd share the news. Post should have all the info you need. Short of it is that it's a loaded CR01 crawler with extras, and ALL money raised goes to Children's Miracle Network.

Contact me if you have any further questions. I know the payment method is not very traditional.. but it's the best option we've figured out. Maybe next one we can make it run a little smoother.

It's a massive prize package. Might even have a LIPO charger added in by tomorrow (still waiting on confirmation).

Have not sold many tickets online yet, is nobody interested in the CR01? Something else about the raffle you dont like?

Let me know.. we're willing to bend the rules a little to get people entered.

Thanks to all who have participated so far in our Charity Raffle. Just wanted to give an update. We just crossed the 100 ticket sold mark ONLINE. We've sold another 50-75 locally on top of that. A few Local Hobby Shops are helping us sell tickets, not really sure how many they've sold yet. Slowly approaching the halfway mark.

Remember, all of this goes to charity.

For those who absolutely hate checks/money orders/snail mail... I AM willing to take paypal if you:
1. Send it as GIFT, so no fees are taken out...
2. Mention NOWHERE in the payment that it's for a "raffle"
just fill out the form as you would for mailing a payment.. then reply to our email that you'd like to use paypal..

We're trying to REALLY limit this to a few people.. so please only request paypal if it's your only option.

Thanks again to everyone involved!

Just wanted to give an update. We've sold around 182 tickets (not counting any checks still in the mail). We've got about 2 weeks left before we close ticket sales to online customers (due to the time it takes to get checks in the mail). We're off to a great start, but there's plenty of tickets left guys.

We'll be drawing a winner no matter what on Dec 15th. So if we only sell 250 tickets, your odds of winning are even greater, but for the sake of the kids, we'd love to sell out.

If there's anything I can do to help you buy a ticket (take paypal if I have to), just let me know at [email protected].

Thanks a lot for your support!

Kevin

Hello, We still have a bunch of tickets left. In a last ditch effort to get these sold, we'll now take paypal if you:
1. send it as a gift so there is no fees removed
2. do not mention that it is for a raffle in the payment.

Paypal hates raffles, and this would get our account locked if you mentioned it, so please don't. The drawing is Friday (moved from the 15th to the 16th). Our cutoff is Wednesday, Dec. 14th to accept payment so we have time to fill out tickets. If you are interested, please fill out the form @ http://www.rcsoup.com/2011/10/rc-sou...a-cr01-raffle/ and I will tell you where to send PP. If you do not get a response in 24 hours (we've had issues w/ the form, please PM me). Or PM me your name, address, and phone.. and I will PM you my pp address. Either way.

Thanks for your time, and good luck if you decide to go through with a ticket purchase.

Also, as mentioned above, we had to move the drawing one day due to a schedule conflict. We will be drawing the winning ticket at Children's Miracle Network on the 16th at 4pm Eastern. Winner will be contacted by telephone or email following the drawing.

Guys, I just did a semi-"final" count on where we stand with ticket sales. We still have a pile of tickets left, but have raised $1455 for Children's Miracle Network. How about one final push to help us break $1,500? It ALL goes to help sick kids, and you get a shot at winning a VERY sweet CR-01 Land Cruiser, 2s Lipo, Lipo charger, AJS Machine Stand, Cow Pit Mat, and more!! I would need payment TODAY. Use the instructions in the post before this.
