I own a nitro radio controlled car and I'm looking for bashing bodies. I visited your site, and am hoping to meet more people there! I'm moving there next month, so I'm doing my research early. i don't want my rc left on the shelf

SOCAL-RC.com is proud to announce Short Course 2WD Points Series Racing!

Great way to get your feet wet in competitive racing, new racer's highly encouraged to participate! Noob friendly racing. House Transponders will be provided for racers.

Classes
Short Course 2WD Stock
-Stock Tires from any of the 4 Short Course Production Trucks (SC10, Blitz, Strike, Slash)
-6 or 7 cell NIMH, or any 7.4 2 cell Lipo
-Stock equivalent motor
-Inspections will be made by the staff prior before the race.
--brushed motors need to be from any of the 4 Short Course Production Trucks (SC10, Blitz, Strike, Slash)
--brushless motors can be any 13.5 and higher motors.

Short Course 2WD Open
-Must have a Short Course Truck Body
-Must be one of the 4 Short Course Production Trucks (SC10, Blitz, Strike, Slash)


Dates for these events are as follows:

January 9th
January 30th
February 20th
March 6th
March 27th
April 17th
April 24th rain date

All track venues TBD. They will all be in SD County; South of Solana Beach and North of Chula Vista.
Practice will be from 9:15am - 9:45am. Races will begin at 10:00 am sharp.

Cash PAYOUT!**
1st place $100**
2nd place $70**
3rd place $60**
4th place $50**
5th place $40**

Points Breakdown:

1st=10pts*
2nd=9pts*
3rd=8pts*
4th=7pts*
5th=6pts*
6th=5pts*
7th=4pts*
8th=3pts*
9th=2pts*
10th=1pts*

Bonus Points:
TQ=3pts
Attending all 6 events =5pts

No shows will get 0 (ZERO) points for that day. We will be dropping your lowest race total. In other words, best 5 out of the 6 races. Best bet is to not miss more that one event!!


Cost:
The series fee will either be $72, or two installments of $36. Fees will need to be paid by the morning of the first race (January 9th). Payments can be made via Paypal or in person before January 9th.


*Points will be proportional to the number of racers in attendance for the class. IE. 20 pts for first place based on 20 racers in that class.
** Based on a minimum of 20 entries. If more racers register the payout will rise accordingly, along with gift certificates from local sponsors TBA.
