A VRC Pro subscription makes you part of a global RC racers network which enables you to instantly race anyone, anywhere on the planet. This means you could also race anyone here at RCTech.net. Who would you like to race?

VRC Pro is a revolutionary impulse and it has even been said by some users that this impulse could change the R/C racing landscape as we now know it. It’s never going to replace R/C of course, that’s also not what we want being R/C racing enthusiasts ourselves. Instead, VRC Pro will bring new generations of highly skilled R/C racers into the scene. These Smart sim racers will enjoy unlimited resources and make rapid progress at low costs, which makes sense because this way the money you end up spending on the real thing becomes much more enjoyable and rewarding. VRC Pro is also revolutionary in that it can change the way we perceive of R/C racing. No longer is R/C racing something inevitably expensive, time consuming nor restricted to racing at your local club, with local racers and occasional local events. R/C racing is becoming truly global.

Is there any chance that those with expired subscriptions can use at least the practice mode or will we never see that day?

VRC Pro has been a huge project which involved a lot of effort and a big investment, still I'd say yes we could possibly see the practice mode become available for expired subscriptions one day. There are however two important objections or rather conditions to consider:

First of all, we could only do this after VRC Pro has sustained a very healthy customer base for enough time that we started getting substantial return on investment.

Secondly, and this is a common misunderstanding, but VRC Pro members are not paying their subscription only for online racing services. They are also paying for all the maintenance and service and continuous product development. Let's not forget that we're adding improvements, new features and new content to the web/game continuously and we require subscription revenues in order to do so.

So, in fact your subscription payment is always also an investment in continuous improvement, expansion and enhancement of VRC Pro, and thus increases the value also for offline users.

Plus, I'd add a third important consideration. I mean, what are we talking about, subscription prices actually start at 6.50 Euro ($8.45) per month. VRC Pro is not all that expensive at all, in fact VRC Pro can help you save lots of money and time on highly effective training, while giving you much more net track time per month. And it makes the money you end up spending on the real thing much more enjoyable and rewarding, because of sheer skill improvements.

Normally people pick the 3-month introduction offer which costs 8 Euros/month ($10.40/month).

Now, you can only buy the introduction offer 1 time and afterwards the regular 3-month subscriptions cost 11.60 Euros/month ($15.00/month), but because of your 3 month loyalty discount (15%) it's actually going to be only 9.86Euro/month ($12.80/month) in the normal 3-months subscription scenario. The next renewal becomes even cheaper, because after a total of 6 months your loyalty discount is 20% so you pay only 9.28 Euros/month ($12.00/months) for a 3-month subscription. The point is, it's still peanuts compared to real R/C expenses (while providing you with a true R/C racing experience, so say more than 40 industry leading brands and top racers like multi-champ Ronald Völker among others).

VRC becomes cheaper the longer you do it:
- Your loyalty discount keeps increasing up to 30% as your subscription continues without any breaks
- The subscriptions are cheaper if you purchase a longer period: 6-months, 12-months or 24-months. This way you can get your subscription for as little as 6.50 Euros/month ($8.45/month) and save a lot of money.

These are all things to consider when thinking about the VRC Pro subscriptions, but let's keep the discussion going!

Thanks for the question

Thanks for the reply. I certainly get where you're coming from on the costs. Just thought I'd ask.

Any ETA on the off- road version?

Any estimated time frame for off road being complete. I'm holding off until I can run off road. 1/10 stadium truck and buggy preferred.

I have a question about car settings in the pits. Steering angle? What exactly is that? I'm sure I'm familiar with it by another term.

I thought I saw some pics online of the 1/8 nitro off-road being developed. But that may have been a year or two ago.

Questions??

So what's different between virtual rc and vrc pro?

And if they're the same thing why are they seperated?

VRC Pro is a separate product and a completely new technology; not just an expansion of Virtual RC.

We developed a completely new graphics engine, completely new exe, new physics models, completely new social networking community website.

VRC Pro has approximately 300% better physics than Virtual RC, it features full Multiplayer over Internet, and new car classes: Electric 1:10 and 1:12, 1:10, and as I said before we're now working on adding 1:10 Short Course offroad trucks.

More news on SC that soon.

We separated Virtual RC and VRC Pro, because Virtual RC was based on old technology and wasn't flexible enough to build on for our future development plans...
