Default VRC Pro on Mac??

I noticed you can only run VRC Pro on PC (windows), will there be a version out that can run on Mac?
IF not is there a way to run it on Mac?

The only way to run it on a MAC at this point is to install boot camp and install Windows on a second partition. There is no support for MAC OS at this point. With boot camp it works great! That's how I run it on my MacBook Pro!

I'm running on a mac book pro and a power pc, settings on my laptop are bare minimum running parallels 7, windows xp yes XP! if you run everything in the lowest quality setting your good to go but it ain't pretty. MY MBP is about 6 years old.

My main Mac Pro System is:

Mid 2010 2.8ghz quad core intel Xeon
Memory 16 GB
Graphics ATi Radeon HD 5770 1024MB
OS Mountain Goat :P

Parallels 7 running windows 7 dual monitor, the parallels system originally allocated 256mb of ram to the virtual windows and i bumped that up to max 1024. It runs pretty good but graphics are set to the lower mid settings and i get roughly 192 fps ( turn vsync off and run full screen )

Single player i don't get any lag or studder, multiplayer i get a little bit of lag if playing with more than 4 people. I'm guessing that server load and my low settings could be causing this but i have friends with high end PCs and they lag just as much as i do in MP. The game is very playable but i may have to pull the trigger and get a PC just to play this addicting game....

Hope this ramble helps heh.

Would a program like crossover work? It switches file types I think.

CrossOver is just Wine with a nice user interface. VRC is currently untested. If it works it will not perform well. It's basically a direct code interpreter. Imagine playing, say Jeopardy, via an interpreter... not good. http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibi...e/?app_id=8182

BootCamp
-Free NTFS partitioning tool that is part of the Os X operating system.
It works by installing Windows on its own boot partition...aka you choose Windows or Mac when you power up your machine.

Fusion/Parallels/VirtualBox
-Fusion and Parallels are not free but both are well supported.
-VBox is free with active community and dev support.
These work by creating a "file" that thinks it's a computer. If you have a robust Mac and can allocate 2 cores and over 2G of RAM you should be okay.
