Tamiya re-releases

Oh wait, some looking around and I find the exact chassis but with a non licensed body called the Desert Fielder. Man.... if I could find a 90's truck body...... Im thinking I have something to pick up after the holidays now.....

Try Team Blue Groove on Ebay, might be a long shot. Tower had the F150 about a year ago, wonder if it was discontinued? The S-10 version has been gone for years!! What a fun truck, for sure!! I remember seeing an original in operation around 1995... it was so cool watching it lean back on throttle, nose down on the brakes, almost roll over when turning... Finally broke down and bought a couple originals from Ebay last year, but the plastic was so brittle, screws kept backing out, just got frustrated and sold them to a buddy.

I've got a Buggy Champ kit but have collected all of the aluminium upgrades made for this chassis plus a full box art body that was taken off a XB kit. The plan is to make something custom out of the body in the kit while still having the box art option.

I have a Rough Rider and Super Champ re-re. Decided to keep them wrapped. Loved building them though.

boomerang!!

I got the kit, it looks like the original Super Champ. My understanding for the name change was due to originally called the Buggy Champ overseas, but for the US market they decided to change the name to Super Champ.

Have the Super Hot Shot built & a Buggy Champ kit with all the alloy upgrades waiting to be built. Which I've kinda gone off the boil with wanting to do since I got my hands on the Kyosho re-release Scorpion & I've got an Optima kit waiting to be put together & I'd love one of each of their models they've re-released for my shelf. I'd even sell some vintage Tamiya buggies if it helped make it happen.

I love the re-releases they use the same molds. Tamiya never got rid of them.

I've also gone off the deep end. I started snapping up the Kyosho re-releases before they were all gone. Two Beetles, a Tomahawk and a Turbo Scorpion still in boxes.
So what do I do? Of course buy the last two Hotshots on RCMart!
Now I want a Wild One and a Sand Scorcher.
