Don't deal with slaytanic been ripped off

Purchased a M11 of this guy which does not work.

Will not bind to the RX module..

Have taken it to Local RC Shop who is the local distributor and they have informed me that the DSS module in the controller is broken..

Have informed slaytanic of this but he is claiming with paypal that I am ripping him off..

I have known slaytanic for awhile and have done business with him before and I find all of this very hard to accept. No calling you out or anything but he has always gone out of his way to make sure it's a good deal and a good expierience. I would think there is some kind of misunderstanding somewhere because it's just not like him to scam anybody. He is well respected and very public figure on these forums and he has a good name as a racer a trader and a very helpful individual. He's a good guy and I am confident this will all work out

I was thinking the same thing...I race with Slaytanic all summer and he is a great guy.Hopefully this will work out for you.

Just out of curiousity, how did Slaytanic edit another user's post???

Is this situation resolved to the liking of both parties?

I too have raced with slaytanic a number of times, seems to be stright up guy I am sure this will all work out in the end.

I found the thread and it does say "works perfectly". Have you had a discussion with the seller about it? I see he considers your complaint as "slander". If it was sold as "works perfectly" I would assume that it should work when you receive it.

I see also that he is a member of.......

I have purchased a M11 off him.. I am not trying to bad mouth anyone or anything.. I just don't want to be ripped off..

The M11 is not working.. I have taken it to our local Distributor and they have informed me that the 2.4Ghz module in the M11 is broken.

After I informed slaytanic he informed me that this radio was purchased off a friend and he would contact him to see what was the go.. he also then said he would read the manual to see what I can do.. I really don't see how this helps anything..

I have purchased a radio off him that doesn't work.. I am really over it I cannot be bothered trying to fix someone elses broken controller.. its not about the money I have already purchased another radio and I cannot wait for him to read this and call this person and blah blah b/s. I just want a working radio.

I understand if he didn't mean to do this but at least if you have sold something that doesn't work either get me to send it back and get a refund or figure out a resolution.. as of now I still have a broken controller that I have paid for and there is no resolution in sight.... I am being called the person who is ripping him off.. not sure how as I have paid for something that doesn't work.. Before this experience I thought this forum was awsome can get things cheap but for RCing but this experience has taught me a lesson.

I have seen this so called broken radio first hand...it was in perfect working order when it left...maybe something happened in shipping overseas but I hope it works out for you....

I also talked to Matt at a race tonight about this and he informed me he is trying to help you resolve this.Starting a thread telling eveyone he is ripping you off is not the best way to go about it...

Wow. He didn't start the thread with saying he was getting ripped off. Just lack of help from seller made him say he didn't "want to be ripped off". Maybe it did get damaged in shipping. Maybe it was a packaging problem. Maybe it was the shippers fault? Either way it should be resolved in the name of good business. Seeing far too many sellers not wanting to back what they sold. It is used and SH!7 happens, but who did it happen to exactly? Even splitting the loss would be reasonable, but who knows. If I was the seller, I'd at least have it shipped back and pay refund THEN try to read manuals and talk to people etc if it couldn't be resolved in the first 24 hrs. Sorry going on............:sounds like good guy who feels like buyer not telling full story?blush:
