how long is to long

i made a deal on here with an individual ( no names yet ) on the donation thread for some 1/12th scale wheels and tires he wanted $ 20 for shipping i agreed even though i kinda thought it was a little steep now it has been over a month , i kept in touch via pm's he replied that he had fallen on hard times and was sorry but he was going to send me back my money but he was having trouble with paypal so he would mail it to me , well he was supposed to send it out by oct 27th he also said it would go out priority mail with tracking , pm'd for tracking # and still no response and he has been on here what should i do ? i am pretty much out of patience

well he contacted me tonight and said it was mailed out oct 31st so we will see

These are two phrases in the scammers mantra. I may be wrong, but if I was to gamble, I'd say you just lost $20.

still nothing said he is gonna mail out the whole $ 20 and if the package arives that i should keep both

well i got a confirmation # tracking # and it hows as acepted at the post office so we will see should be here by fri
