I sold this item to this person and he is just asking a lot of stuff.
Before sale:
What is your reserve price on the boat? Thanks
I said what it was.
After sale:
I was the winning bidder on your rc boat. Can you please include the battery with the boat. Does it have a transmitter? Thanks
Will this battery work in this boat and do you have a charger for it?
Will the battery that you will be sending work in this boat and does it have a charger? What traxxas upgrades have been done to the boat?
I'm not sure if he knows what he is buying, even read discription, whats to get stuff for nothing?
All these wherer asked within a few hours today and the guy gave me no chance to respond.
The battery I told him he is geting is a stick pack that came with the boat when I bought it, it has the wrong connector, and I'm not sure if the battery is even good.

i states very clearly that it does not come with the battery and that if the bidding goes over 50 you would include an untested battery (that it came with).
I guess it is up to you, you aren't obligated to include it at all as the terms are stated very clear. How motivated do you feel to do any favors for this person?

if he paid you he agreed to the terms and conditions of the auction. if he has not paid i believe there is a way to cancil the auction after it ended, but the buyer has to agree not to complete the tranaction also.
i will try to find the link for you.
he is going to be a problem i ca nalready see this coming.
short example.
i sold a tc3 roller F/T model sold as is no warranty or refunds. i posted nine pics of the car.i described everything i knew what was wrong with it including the bent cvd axel even showed a pic of that, some guy bought it paid i shipped prioirty mail. next after he received it. ohh car is not as described.
heres what he said
cvd axel bent (showed pic of that)
tire has small worn spot my descrption said tires are worn (needs to be replaced soon)
screws are scratched up on the bottom side. again i said in my descrption bottom side has scratches and scrapes from normal onroad use.
fuel tank had oil residue on it and sone fuel in tank. OMG
then he said well if u can send me som threaded shocks and some new tires and a new fuel tank and a servo il leave u postive feedback if not i will neg you. i reported him ot ebay for demanding request to leave me feedback they booted his ass off ebay
Now he is asking if the transmiter comes with battereis and if I can include them, I think this person is new to r/c and does not rally know much about it. He has a lot of feedback but I know there was a thread a while back, where someone had a problem like this and it got ugly. Do I refund the money and take the bad feedback or send the item and hope no problems start?

do not give him anything at all give him whats listed in the auction and thats it.
tell himn like this, you won the auction and thats it! what i listed thats what you are getting. let him pay and ship it. or tell him he needs to contact ebay to cancil out the transaction and be done with it.
Walmart has AA batteries at 96 cents for 4. they last, not very long.
you can send parcel post via paypal and have delivery confirmation to make up for the expense. printing labels through paypal is always cheaper than taking it to the post office.
assuming the battery has a tamiya plug on it and those are like a million for a buck you could salvage your deans off the esc as well.
These mentions are if you want to go through the hassle.
if not, ebay has a way to reply to neg feedback right on the page so if he does give a neg then you can add a note to it explaining the truth of the matter.
or if he persists on being a mooch you could just say no to the extras and when he does not pay in the allotted time you could file unpaid item against him and get your listing fees back and then relist it.
also you could try talking to him on the phone. its hard to be a keyboard commando without a keyboard.
There are many things you can do. just remember this . Most of the time if you give an inch they will try to take a mile.

Here lately, what you put in the pic is what buyer expects regardless of sellers disclaimers to the contrary. Paypal seems to be backing that reasoning too which is scary. Make sure in any future ads, pics show exactly and only what is up for auction. The less you put in your ad, the less you can be held accountable for.
well bro you gotta do what you gotta do if can't understand what he's reading then it's not are fault. you could try and contact he explan it to him again. if he still dosen't understand then refund his money and repost.
the auction definitely ended w the buyer getting a great deal....
send it to them.... For the few bucks they need to spend on a battery/charger they will appreciate it in the long run....
unless you feel the auction let it sell for too little...then it would be shame on you....
Much like the buyer assuming a "contract" when bidding on an item, you likewise assumed one when you placed your item up for sale. The auction ended, the buyer paid, now ship him the item.
It almost sounds as if you are unhappy with the price you got and are looking to cancel the transaction with the hopes of getting more money somewhere else. This may or may not be the case however you are bound by the terms of service and are obligated to ship the successful bidder the item in question.
