sadly i worry too bout folks new angles and tactics on gettin $ back or refunds and extra by complainin on ebay and knowin paypal takes their $ back til be 'break'. i sadly too had to start putting the statement on my auctions to the tune of 'i do not sell junk, however due to the nature of the hobby and new ebay seller policies-all items are as-is.' sux, but now u gotta cover ur butt b/c every1 wants somethin for nothin, even in these times, folks still want somethin but will try at great lengths to get it for nothing.

I was afraid when I read this thread that you would get a PayPal claim over it. Like I said earlier, Paypal is clearly siding with disputes based on the pic in the ad regardless of what disclaimers the seller has made in his ad. The one you linked is one of many I've seen here and elsewhere.

You simply can't take any pic and put that in an eBay ad. I don't know what PayPal's thinking is, but the only way for seller to defend himself is to show only and exactly only what is for sale and avoid descriptions that include terms like rtr since they will side with the buyer that he understood it to be fully rtr and make you pony up for the rest.

Good luck with Paypal. This is what I call the PayPal reverse scam.
