I had paid him through Paypal. I had filed a claim in August, they said I won, but because it wasn't through Ebay, they couldn't arrange the refund. I'm going to contact them again explain the current situation and see what they can do, even citing the credit card idea. If it becomes a legal matter, they will possible have to have their records summoned for evidence.

I know what he was asking, but I really didn't care to get other people's opinions on whether or not I got scammed. I know I got scammed. I sent him $195 and I have nothing to show for it.
