Hello,
Well, I tried to put this post in the electronics section but nobody answered it, so I hope its ok to go here.
I have a TC4 with a mamba max pro and a track star 5.5T.
They don't seem to like each other
The motor kinda squeals and clicks and jerks??? I don't get it. I've tried other motors with the ESC and it works fine
The track star is brand new, zero runtime on it.
The only thing I can think of is that I heated up something inside the motor when I soldered the leads.
(My soldering needs work lol)
But the motor spins free. Did I cook this thing?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Did you make sure you didn't reverse any of the A B C wiring from the ESC to the motor??
Reversing the A to the C wire or vise versa could cause the symptoms you're describing. I did it once because i'm stupid.

I double checked the connections and they are A,B,C, to A,B,C,
