I have ordered a replacement after one hell of a run around from customer service and am hoping that this one won't be a mess out of the box. If not I guess I will just stick with ole faithful (red can v1).
What's the problem with the bearing?

I believe that the bearings are 5mm ID just like most wheel bearings. Press it out and measure the outside to see if it's a 10 or 13 mm. Mine is in my buggy now so I can't measure it. When I had it apart, It looked like a standard 5x10x4 wheel bearing.

They are the same bearings from v1, from googling the info I found was:

small one in the endbell is 3 x 7 x 3mm

large one on the front is 3/16" x 1/2" x 0.1960

To update my motor situation, I got a new 17.5 v2 and it has been working great 69/30 in my b5m 42 on the timing. I guess I just got a dud the first time, I tried replacing the bearings, I tore it completely down and found no charring or soldering that had come apart.

I just ordered a new 7.5t V2 motor and it came with the bad screws. I thought they took care of this.

Probably some old stock. Request some new ones and they should send them to you.
