Default The Mushroom Bowl

anybody (besides myself) race, or going to start(like myself ) racing, go to The Mushroom Bowl in Kennett, PA?? Just wondering, because my friend says he does, and he says it's a pretty nice track...just want some other opinions.

I race there every weekend in the summer. Right now they've been running M18's and RC18ts/Mini-t's. THe outdoor track is pretty nice as well as the indoor track. Whos your friend?

The MB is an awesome track. I have raced there for the last fast years, and it is one of the best tracks (asphalt) in the Tri State area. They have ample pit space, both indoor and outdoor, a well stocked shop, and a very friendly local crew.

I have been there only a few times. Once indoor for oval, many years ago. and the outdoor track a couple of time. Running the outdoor track as a road course is simply awesome. They run a nice show, I just wish I was closer and I would be there all summer.

I ran the ORL2 race at The Mushroom Bowl this summer. The track is really big and was alot of fun. The track is fairly bumpy so need to raise the right height a little bit but other than that I will come back to run another ORL2 race if they have one.

The track should be better next year, i still beleive they are planning to resurface the whole track, not just the infield like they did this year.

That would be awesome. I had a great time except for eating a few gears but I have that problem fixed now. It was fun and the layout they setup that day was fun. Look forward to coming back this spring/summer.

I don't think I've ever seen him there. Name doesnt sound familiar. What class does he race? Right now they are running micro's. M18's/RC18T's/Mini-T's/Micro rs4's. Sorry, no xmod racing there. Get a body and motor and come down in the spring when we start. Check the site when it starts to get warmer. www.mushroombowl.com.

he has a TC3 i think, and an offroad something, I forget, he hasn't been in school all week, he has the chickenpox , or so people say

I'm trying to get up to HobbyTown in West Chester, but that's like a 30 minute drive, so nobody wants to take me, 'cause i'm only 15...know any good fairly priced hobbyshops around here that would sell motors/PAINTED bodies? I don't really wanna paint mine...unless i can get it painted after I buy it.

Spo - the regulars at the MB are great people to race with and most will loan a motor for the day if needed. I will be racing there all summer, and can hook you up with a motor (stock or 19T) for the day. If you don't want to paint a body, I can always throw down a simple paint job for you, and can hook you up with a new body too. What type of car do you have?

The motor isn't needed, but the body would be pretty helpful. I've got a HPI RS4 PRO 3 190mm...how much would you charge for the paintjob?
