Default Anyone interested in 1/8 on road in AZ?

If there is anyone else interested in racing 1/8 scale on road in Arizona let me know. I'd like to see how many people we could get to start racing and get a club together.

just saw this today... I know a couple of guys who races in cali almost every week. And theres about 5 guys who regularly race 1/10th gas at SRS. We'll be very interested. Come out this Friday at SRS if you have time, you could discuss it with the group.

you can count me in, I would not be a every weekend racer because 1/8 Buggy is my main focus. but I do get a discount From Delta and if a 1/8 onroad track opens up here I will purchase one through Fusion Motor sports.... and to have a larger onroad track would make 1/10 onroad racing even more fun... Scottsdale is just a little tight.... I take that back,,, really tight... LOL

I'm with Lynch on that one. I coulnd't race every week but if someone puts together a track I definitely would be up for it. 1/8 onroad is about the only type of r/c I haven't tried yet.... well that and 1/4 scale.

Default Ok Lets do Something !!!

Here is the layout we need to get going on !!!!!
The only problem is that there are not enough bleachers for all
my fans to watch !!!!!

Chandler if I'm not mistaken is looking for ideas to keep
kids off the streets.

I cant find the article anymore but I am pretty sure it involves
the city council and has a deadline.

I've got a G4 that has 1/2 tank on it. Would be fun to have a nice big track somewhere. If you guys could find a parking lot, Hobby Action could possibly bring out the scoring equipment. Maybe once a month thing. Good luck, I hope you guys get something going.

There is a beautiful parking lot in downtown gilbert, behind The Farmhouse resturaunt, with fresh asphalt, it looks like it's a park and ride lot. It's always empty on the weekends. Only a mile down the road from Hobbytown.

Just scrolled up further and saw Scotts comment about "his fans"... no bleachers are needed... one orange crate should be sufficient!
