Greetings all. I am the new owner of the Olde Towne Hobby Shoppe in Manassas, VA and I want to hear from you all that are anxious to begin racing in Northern Virginia. I have all the track equipment, but it'll take just a couple of weeks to get fully prepared. Please respond and let me know where you're from and what you're driving. Hope to hear from you soon!!

I'll be there, but hopefully your races will be better organized than the previous owners of Olde Town. Last year, I can remember being out there for over eight hours, only to run in 2 heats and a main. Often there was a lag of at least an hour between heats. I love to race, but that was absolutely rediculous!

I also see OTHS in Manassas is out of business. I know Trains ETC has non-summer months indoor racing, but I guess it's a tiny little track. I also know Fredericksburg has a nice outdoor track, but there's gotta be SOMETHING closer that 1 1/2 hours away....

Are you looking for outdoor or indoor...on or off road? Why I ask is that the group I run with meets on Sundays for outdoor parking lot racing. This Sunday is the last run at Hobbytown in Lakeridge. Starting the next, we are moving to Manassas, Osbourne High School (I think that is the name).
