We are playing with TOY Cars and trucks in a large sand box, expensive toys but TOYS nonetheless.

The Stampede opens at 2 PM Friday so after that you'll need to get creative about getting your gear inside the perimeter.

Based on my experience last year, here's the good news. If you get there later, the track is located right next to Route 63, so you can park on the shoulder and throw your gear over the fence to a buddy. I'd suggest backing in perpendicular to the road if you plan on leaving so you don't get blocked in by double parkers. You should be able to Shawshank your way under the fence too. If not, I've never gotten any grief from the workers there about just walking in after identifying myself as an RC racer.

The big question for me is can we park overnight outside the fence next to the track without being hassled by "The Man". I'm gonna need some Dunkin and some ice Saturday and Sunday and I'm too lazy to hump it all the way to the general admission parking lot.

There is an LCQ on Sunday. I will not be there until then either.

I'm sure there will be bumps also, but Lester or Pat can confirm that.
