For anyone intrerested in doing more than bashing your nitro car on the street, check us out. We set up a track with road rails and domes at Deer park train station and run nitro 1/10th and 1/8th every Sunday. We usually start setting up the track by about 10 a.m. All are welcome. We dont have a lap counting system so its nothing official we just line em up and one guy keeps laps and who is ahead. Even if you dont want to compete you can jump on the track and run. They charge $10 dollars and you can run from the time they set up till they break down the track. Deer Park train station is located on Long Island ave, across from the par 3 golf course. They also blow off the track to eliminate as much dust and debris as possible.

You're a real wise ass Larry. I work in the Bank of Smithtown Building (Exit 53 on LIE) And Deer Park train station is at Exit 51 (correct?)

Come on down. We set up around 9 a.m. Its mostly 1/10th touring but there are a few 1/8th guys there too. And every once in a while we run our trucks out there.

I went down to check it out Sunday around 2:00PM and there was nooen there ! What part of the Parking lot do you guys set up in ! Look like a nice place to race !

We had a decent turn out 2 weeks ago. Looks like clear skies this weekend so we will be out there unless it rains.
