I'm wondering if anybody knows a 1/8th scale onroad track in greater detroit area.
The only outdoor onroad track I've heard about is the Lazer, but I don't know if they run 1:8 nitro.

Please help

May want to check with the club in Detroit, but the midwest series race was moved from Mt Sterling to Canton... according to this post on www.midwestseries.com

Posted: Tue Jun 28, 2005 12:36 pm Post subject: Midwest Series Detroit July 23-24 at new Location! Detroit will Host the next Midwest Series Race July 23-24th at Emagine Theater. Our warm up for that event is on July 17th (TDM Series) same location. The parking lot we will use is on the South East corner.

Its a new parking lot and very smooth. We're expecting traction to be good and tire wear to be better than last year. Plus the location has plenty of nearby restaurants and shops.

This is a movie theater lot, therefore we have to reduce the space we take up at night. Campers will not be allowed to camp this year in the theater lot. There is a Wal-mart right accross the street, and a Home Depot next door. Wal-Mart usually welcomes RV's and campers to their lot, home depot I'll have to investigate.

Thanks for the help guys. Come check us out or feel free to particpate. Our first race will be on July 17th in Canton will be a blast, plus its for charity. Its going to be lots of fun. Donations will go to the Children's Miracle network. After that the following weekend on Saturday and Sunday is the Midwest Series.
