Hello Racers,
I'd like to let you know about our track we're building, Wolverine Speedway. Located in Britton, Mi. We will have both Off-Road & Oval racing. The Off-Road will be inside the oval and it will feature 8' wide hard packed racing lanes, utilizing part of the oval track. And if you do like oval racing, our oval will have a 260' drive line and a 18' wide track.
We will be racing Saturday nights with the program kicking off at 7pm. We're having a 12 race points series with awards at the end, weekly raffles, a full concession stand, the Firecracker 100 & Short Course Shootout, a race you won't want to miss. An on site hobby shop courtesy of Kurt from Spratt's Hobby Center and for those who might be interested in oval racing, we are a Custom Works dealer.
We still have a lot of construction to do but we're confident we'll be ready for our first race on June 1st. In the meantime, please stop by our website, follow the construction process and have a look at what we'll be offering. If you have any questions, comments or ideas for something you'd like to see, send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you and racing with you in 2013.

More good news..... we will have an on-site hobby shop courtesy of Kurt from Spratt's Hobby Center in Hillsdale, MI. Thanks a bunch, Kurt.

Time for another update...
We have currently been working on the parking area, mainly removing the remains of the barn. Most of that is complete, all that is left is a small concrete box. With that gone there will be plenty of parking for everyone. Focusing on the track part of construction, we've brought the infield up to level. Now its ready to put the off-road in. The track is slowly starting to look like a track again after a long winter. Kevin and I have been discussing getting started on the construction of the walls and drivers stand soon. We've also been discussing the details of our first big race of the summer coming up July 6th.....
The Firecracker 100 & Short Course Shootout. You're gonna want to mark your calendars for this race. 2wd Late Models, 4wd Late Models and Sprints will be the highlight on the oval track. Spec Slash, Stock SC and Mod SC on the off-road. Racers will have to conquer the heats, dashes and mains to make the big show and have a chance to take home the trophy and braggin' rights. We'll have prizes to give away, 50/50 drawing and a Fireworks show that will light up the sky during intermission. It's sure to be a good time!
