Even closer, from SoCal, is Hobby World in Gilroy which is permanent and open year round (Stockton RC races from Oct-Mar). A permanent carpet track is supposed to be opening in Fresno soon as well.

Fresno..Thats a new one to me,especially considering just how hard the city of Fresno makes it to open any type of RC track,Right now their are NO permanet tracks in Fresno,Why is that( )The city wants you to buy an occasional user's permit in order to run your track(Thats $10,000..up front, every year.. )..The city is just anti-racing,not just RC but any form.Thats why I'm opening a track in Kingsburg. We are very close to opening.. The building may not be the nicest in the world but we will have The new CRC carpet, new AMB system,A computer that wont crash in the blink of an eye.. I'm a long time Racer(started in 85)so i would hope that i have learned something.. From LA we are about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs away.If you need more info PM me or Losi Jon and we would be happy to help.

Default micro track in san luis obispo

there is a carpet micro rc track in San Luis Obispo called fast lap
805-544-race the track is 24x60' it's small but has transponders,
road rails and a regular race schedule tuesday and fridays nights
and alternating sundays. we have been racing xray m-18's with
a spec class and a mod class. also mini-t and 18t. The xray with
a penguin chassis rips!!! lots of fun and cool people!!!!They are
racing 10th scale in the parking lot and are looking for a better
