*NEW 5TH OFFROAD TRACK* TMR Large Scale North PA.
A New 5th scale facility is coming to Northern PA.!
Home of the former "Singers-Thumptown R/C" Located just outside of Wellsboro, PA. will be transformed into a 5th scale offroad and Oval Facility. Currently the facility consists of a large 10th/8th scale offroad track, as well as a large drivers stand, amd lap counting system, watering system, trackside electric power, and plenty of pit space.
The current track will remain in its current location, changes will be made to its layout, lanes, ect. to accomidate the larger 5th scale 2&4wheel drive trucks and buggys.
The large, high drivers stand will also remain in its currently location, serving both the offroad track, and the soon to be built oval track (spring 2012).
A large amount of dirt/clay is already piled up and waiting to be turned into an oval track, which will be built in the current pit location.
The pit area will be moved to the other side of the tracks.
Night racing will also be a part of racing at TMR Large Scale, and lighting will not be an issue with the huge light rigs.
We will welcome all makes of production 5th Scale 2&4wheel buggys, as well as 2&4wheel trucks. The recent release of the new losi 5ive T has created alot of buzz in the 5th scale market, and we will have a class for them!
Myself and the others at TMR are excited about the opportunity to bring 5th scale gas racing to northern PA. !
Further details, race schedule, and track/facility updates will come soon.
Any ?'s please feel free to contact me.

Doug still owns the track but TMR is taking over running the track we will be running mainly 1/5 scale oval and off road. if enough people want to run 1/10 or 1/8 th scale on a un scheduled 1/5 scale weekend we can probably work that out.
