Ok rc peeps we finally got the approval from the city to build a new track.
Keep in mind,this is a public park anyboby can come,not just for racers.

I want to give a big thanks to the people who donated there time,energy and opinons, it wasnt easy to pull this off.

The pics ,and the video of the track.....was done in 2 days.
A few pics of how it looked before,as well as video of how it was.

Rather your local or within a reasonable driving range,come by and try it out.

Good news. Ive been waiting for this to happend.. Is there going to be any type of water system for the track? If you need a hand post up what date and time you guys are going to be out there working on it...

Yeah man thanks for the offer.The layout has changed a little bit, but it came out pretty well.We still need some pvc pipe or something.Im not to sure what they want to use as of yet ,but i will find out and let you know.

I dont know if you know "BLESSAMI" ,but if so, hes the one making the layout plans.

I hope the local hobby shops ( Bruckner / thunder) can be more involved with this project sought of like how Brownies run a monthly race program here in Staten Island. It's a win, win for them!

Had a long talk with Bless last night about this track and the club that runs the track. IMO this is a great look for the community. A grey place for those who cannot travel upstate to the Barn/ Galli or Ct. These guys aren't looking to compete with these tracks but give local guys a place to enjoy the park and participate in their hobby they love. Id definitely like to see these plans carried out. I know things like this cost money. How can we participate?

There are a lot of guys that have interesting occupations on the forum. I know there is a landscaper / construction worker amongst us. The problem is NYCRC needs the use of a bobcat to prep the track and efficiently. Anyone knows where we can acquire / rent one for a few hrs.......cheap?

The track is starting to take a turn for the better.

I finally got to take the mugen out for a try, and boy was it dialed in.
