Maybe he was trying to do me a favor, I really don't know.

Thanks for the shop tip. Are there any other shops around?
Hobbytown can get it in for ya, as long as it's in stock with the distributors.

That is exactly what it was... He was trying to do you a favor... Im guessing you were asking about the dex210... That is a piece of junk that you cant hardly get parts for... he was just trying to save you from a lot of frustration.

Yeah it was the 210 I was asking about.

I was looking for something different from the crowd. From the research ive done, there were some breakage issues with certain parts. From what i gather those parts have been addressed by after market companies.

As for parts availability, I thought I read that it was the company or distributor change or something if i got that straight.
How has your experience been.

Now that Tower Hobbies is carrying Durango, parts availability seems to be much better. I have just heard that that buggy sucks not just because of its breaking, but that it just isnt a very good buggy. Hope that helps...

On the same note, if I were working at a hobby shop, of course I would have oppinions about products. I would never not sell you something, but i would warn against it. I personally love my durango short course, but it isnt for everyone, and I wouldnt recommend it to everyone. Im sure Tom was just trying to save you a lot of headache by not selling you the buggy. I hope that helps

The 210 looks like a nice piece. That's what I'm leaning towards getting should i decide to take the plunge again.

Interested in any info you'd share on it, as well as where ya got it, parts, and where ya run.

At least show up tomorrow to see what it’s like. Plenty of stadium trucks. The quickest way to learn is to go head first.
