Great racing! We actually had 6 guys racing. It was nice to run a full race program of 3 classes. Looking forward to the next one.

Room for 6 more really... parking might get a little tougher though but my neighbor always tells me we can park up on his land.

Glad you finally got on RCTech dude!

BTW... Gasman said he may stop over Sunday with his gear and he's going to be selling much of it. Not sure if you need anything but he's gonna have a bunch of stuff.

Same here, my goal is to get those F1s somehow so we have extras for our loaner car pool.

Your car was really smoothed out that last race, just a few more minor tweaks and we'll get you up to speed. Lemme know when you wanna tune so we can get your radio settings up to snuff too!

Default Raceday March 25th in Reading PA...

We are running the third installment of the new ISRL series on March 25th... 10am - 6pmish? Qualifying will start by noon, Mains will start around 3pm. I want to get us all as much track time as possible, we shouldn't have too many distractions this time. I think everyone that could have visited, did visit last time!

Here's the layout for the third race:

Maybe we'll get to avoid the pole this time around but I know my pit area may be re-arranged for this one.

Here's the results once again, I know we can do better... we're either that out of practice or just having too much fun bashing and trash talking during the races.

http://www.mini-az.com/isrldumans2012a.html

Here's the basics from Dusty's thread:

80 Minutes du Mans
A multi-class Le Mans style sports car and prototype race.
Each race is 8min for a total of 80min run in a season.
Classes all run and scored together. Positions are for Overall, Class, and Club Championships.
LMP class: 102mm+ prototype cars. Open motor. Plastic or Lexan. Lots of modification available and encouraged. 150g min (w/o batts)
GTS class: 98mm- sports cars. 70t+ motor. Plastic bodies. Some modification available. 125g min (w/o batts)

Formula Mini World Championship
Stock class F1 cars running 70t+ motors. Some modification available. 150g min (w/o batts)
Each race is 8min for a total of 80min run in a season.
Driver and Club Championships

Oh, and no race videos from last month, but Quinn did get to test out his new on-car micro-cam:

http://youtu.be/q0k087FZ724 *sorry, wrong link... the in-car is in his vid collection though*

I also have a loaner F1 now too, so if anyone wants to run some open wheel with us, we got the gear!

We are going back to our full basement layouts from here on out... we missed out on the last ISRL race due to poor attendance. Someone got sick, someone had issues, someone completely forgot... usual perfect storm of chaos.

So, we're still going to run the 3 classes but we will probably conform more to the PN rules so we can get some ready for the soon to be announce regionals in our area.

Next raceday for April will be posted soon, stay tuned!

Kyosho Mini-Zs... all kinds of them really but we mostly concentrate on the 2WD chassis types.

2WDs:

MR01 (AM only) - Racer chassis, first version, I would say it's now obsolete out on the track.
MR015 (AM only) - Racer chassis, similar to the first version but with a servo saver, works fine, just a higher CG due to battery placement.
MR02 (AM or 2.4ghz) - Racer chassis, second version, flat cell configuration really stepped the performance levels of this scale.
MR03 (2.4ghz only) - Racer chassis, the latest and greatest, lots of useful changes into this design.
MF01 (AM or 2.4ghz) - F1 chassis, always been a great class, open wheel at this scale is incredible!
MF015 (2.4ghz only) - F1 chassis, the latest release, but not too many differences from the original MF01.

There are AWD Racers, Drifters, Buggies... and soon they will be releasing the Mini Z Moto, 18th scale superbikes for your basement racing needs! The cars are nearly indestructible and very quick for their scale. Many of us used to run the larger scales in the area but it just gets too expensive to try to keep up with the faster guys. There is a younger driver in my club right now who is running gear that is 4 years old and he's still winning races.

This link below is the largest forum for our scale, tons of information on this link:

We are located just South of Reading... I'll post up here when we figure our next race date for April.

For Stock class, we are now open to anything from Mini Coopers to Porsche 962 Prototypes... same goes for Mod. There's just too many body types to list, as far as American Iron... here are a few:

I think that covers all of the American Autoscales that Kyosho made... all of the Ferrari lineup alone would take too long to post!
