Default Gauging intrest in michigan track

Hello all just trying to guage some interest. I used to race got out of the game and now getting back into it. Was thinking of building a track on the back five acres of my property a combination dirt oval with an off road track infield. I live in kalamazoo michigan. Was just trying to see if i built it if anyone would be interested in practicing and/or racing at it. Im gonna build one either way but if i feel there is enough interest i would be willing to invest in a timing system and build a track worth racing on. Just throwing this out there interested to hear feedback from people.
thanks
travis

my experience is build it, post pics, and they'll come. To get the more serious racers to come, you'll need a quality scoring system and a decent drivers stand.

Kings kid has a track and had a pretty good turnout when it was open you will have to ask him about fesability, The local track I race on reportedly had $15,000 invested and more hours than can be counted to gross $4,000 in entry fees in its first year without another track within approximately 75 miles I have heard the scoring systems cost thousands alone. Check on the interest and need in your area, I built an offroad practice track in my back yard and posted to a couple of forums and have had 1 visitor and multiple family members turn laps in a year and a half and there are no other tracks within 25 miles of my place. I have ran the indoor at AMS and like it alot, but did not know an outdoor existed. Is this outdoor part of AMS? Where is it?

if you drive around the building you will see it. It is totally opposite of where the indoor track is. Indoor is north outdoor is South.
