Hope to see you there Thurs. I think you will find the track to be a lot of fun. The lanes are going to seem wide as they are laid out for 1/8 and 1/5 but, its still a blast with 1/10. Adam had the surface really smooth at the last practice after some very heavy storms. If the track is holding moisture Thurs it will be fast!

Adam contacted me through text today to answer a few questions that I had. Top notch and quick to reply. Thanks again.

See everyone tomorrow, I'll be the one driving the slow short course truck.

Recently just arrived home after visiting this track for the first time. My wife decided to come along (first time ever to see RC) anyways Adam is a great guy and was working his tail off on the track to smooth it as there were some very heavy rains this week. Besides a few wet spots that were drying up as the night went on the track was in great shape.

I'm terrible at driving period, but the track was very fun and challenging.

Anyways, my wife and Adam's son decided to watch some of the action. Beings as there isn't much for videos or pictures of the layout here is a video I shot with my phone.

Thanks again Adam for running such a great facility. I'll keep practicing and hopefully get back down to run with you guys.

When I was there Thursday, Adam said he has it. Just hasn't put it in yet due to construction of everything.

He said he hoped to very soon.

Well i guess ill answer since Adam doesnt come on here anymore. He runs Thurs, and Sat weather permitting. Thurs 5-dark, sat noon-? Cant tell you anything about the rock crawling.. i dont think its there, or open at least. Talked to Adam last week and he isnt hooking up the lap counter this year, said its too late in the season to do it........

I saw one or two there when I was there but not enough regulars to hold a race of any sort. That goes for all classes though.

Track had a face lift ....

their putting their storage building there. Guess there might be another track getting built but it will be up near the mx tracks and it wont be the same size, I was told by a worker there that they aren't going to try holding any races there anymore. If another track gets built it'll just be for people to mess around on.

Thats exactly why this track did not work out.

The shame of it is that, in the beginning of this thread, a few people gave excellent suggestions on what would be the basics of a "race" program. People are not going to show up week after week and pay to mess around. People would have showed up if the transponder system was set up, and the track was reasonably set up to race on, from day one.

It was clear to me when I was there, that it was just going to be a bash spot. That should have been made more clear in the beginning.
