You guys need to consider the 10th scale guys too. That's just a recipe for disaster with them. Big jumps are nice but it has to appeal to all and not just the 8th scale guys.

Big jumps are nice until someone gets hit in the head with an out of control scale or any car for that matter!

Obviously the video I posted is to the extreme, but it's to show that with the right transitions, a jump of any height (not necessarily distance though) can be cleared with nominal power.

Here's some footage of Doug's track last year - all 1/10 classes had no issues making it over this jump:

Just a friendly Bump back out to 1st page (getting crowded over here)
Tyler & I will come out & give ya hand when possible.
Ty runs 8th scale & I'm 10th SC stock or mod, whatever class could use more of. We can possibly help with testing builds on heights/distances, etc.
We met before, I was with Jack O. to help fix flooring @ your place & one time Ty & I stopped to talk to you @ the track. You were trying to build offroad course in the middle of oval track. Good luck with this, we're hoping this takes off.
Take care

this time the oval is gone, that whole section is for Offroad and we are added some. It would be great to have people that help.
I need it.

We are trying to break ground when the ground can be broken instead of sinking into it.

It is snow right now soooooooo not sure.

but thanks

I have some ideas. But i have only come up with that basic layout. I will have a section where you have to choose your path. right in the middle. One with more techincal and the other with speed.
Until i dont have a frosting of snow, i will need to wait, but the equipment is sitting there waiting.

That's something like what you mentioned with the choosing your path. Possibly some ideas.
