We're getting a few together to tear down large driver stand @ previous concrete oval track, to hopefully use lumber towards stand for offroad track next season. Most likely for remainder of season will only be used for practice/get togethers, will post when we have another run going on. Just a friendly BS session & playing with setups.

FYI for 2012 Motorama
My name is Scotty Ernst and I was the organizer of the Nitro Side of Motorama last year. I have just spent some time reading through all the comments left here in the thread and I wanted you guys to hear it directly from me on what the situation is and the conditions moving forward for 2012 Motorama.
So going into this years event, the Fire Marshall has had to put his foot down and not allow the Nitro portion of MR to take place this year. The poor air quality and health concerns were to great for him to look the other way anymore and could not risk any problems.
So you hear it here now officially, I am sorry to say no nitro event at next years MR.

not sure if i'm gonna make it out in the afternoon on saterday got a few things to try and get accomplished (take apart kitchen chairs, work on snow blower) but still planning on being there sunday morning probably around 9 or so

I want to THANK everyone that came out Sunday and helped me remove the Concrete oval Driverstand.
it really means alot considering I got more help from my offroad racers then i ever received from the oval racers.
I hope that the plans will work out for the new track design in 2012. I will be contacting the landlord and getting approval for the change.
Hopefully we will be able to move the track up near the road and increase the size to be closer to the larger 1/8th scale tracks.

track is very wet. i know there was some people that called and were coming down to run.
