Track is runnable now. We will be correcting drainage a bit. There is only that one spot that it truly collects and if we can eliminate that we should be good.

i am here, but for some reason i am not getting a notification for this thread.

Also Tyler is right we are going to put two drains in. this should resolve those two problem spots and allow us to run on the track right after a hard rain. it has proven to handle the hard rains well but it holds it in two places.

I wanted to put them in on thursday. but that is really goiing to depend on the rain we are supposed to see tonight and tomorrow. they are calling for 1.5 inches. this is supposed to be a slow steady rain so depending on that will dictate the work schedule.

Default Weekend of 8/6

Anyone running this weekend ? Starting to get Ty's stuff back together & need to do some testing, so we'll most likely be running Sat./ & or Sun.

Was out last night & placed a pipe for drainage (not out yet to see if it was working) & placed "2" pipes @ base of ant hill (hopefully it's a hit) "2" more need placed, if not they can be removed. This emphasis your line around top of hill, or you rumble around the base of it

Ty loves the new layout, amazing what just moving some piping around could do.

PS Jim: that was me who reattached the sign, I'm running out of zip ties

Default A HUGE THANKS!!!!

I want to thank Mr. Eric & Tyler Herwig, While i have been busy opening the shop with the goal of hopefully increasing the amount of "local" RC'ers. These two Racers have stepped up and really have helped to keep the track together and put some real blood and sweat in it.

I hope that we can continue to grow our racer base and get some solid racing going on a weekly basis.

thanks to everyone that supports the track.

I will keep everyone updated about the indoor offroad. i haven't been able to lock anything in place yet. i hope to soon

Shawn

I'll be at the track in the morning to post an update on track conditions. It should be good to go. The only thing is we are supposed to get some rain the morning. If anything it will be good for the track. Only time will tell. I'll update in the morning.

Default Track Condition

Just got back from track & surface is looking GREAT!!! Don't think you will have any problems with traction.
Problem is: WEATHER, not raining yet, but it's overcast & weathermen have percentage of rain up for today.
Ty & I will keep you informed of weather in area & will likely be at track around 12pm, or if anyone would rather do Sunday (lower rain %) just post please.
Have a good weekend
Eric
