Default RT281 Raceway July 16th First Race!

We are opening the track for practice at 9:00am and we start racing at 12:00pm.

Track is getting the improvements we all discussed last saturday and will be ready to lay down some fast laps!!!

hope to see you all there.

12.00 for the first class and 8.00 for the second one.

3 cars will make a class.

there will be a sportsman class.

we have 10 rental transponders for those that dont have them.

we are averaging 1.5 people per day renting the facility to practice that is pretty awesome considering the age of the facility and the lack of a dedicated store.

this week so far there has been 5 people out to practice, 2 on monday and 3 today.

I hope this continues.

you can now purchase tickets, ahead of time and use them whenever.

thanks

Really glad things are working out so well Shawn. I won't be able to make it up over the weekend but plan to hit a practice or two before next weekend. I had a great time up there last weekend and appreciated the friendly atmosphere. Oh, by the way if you need further banners removed from the fence let me know I just hope I never clear the fence!

Come to think of it. I was out there today... and that banner is still down! The track crew is slacking! Oh wait...

We hope to see you again and we are continuing with the changes and suggestions from the test day.

Jim we need to change your screen name to fence trimmer! Just kidding, i am so glad you enjoyed it. We are gaining some interest and this makes me so happy.

We have had the ovals there for 3 years, and i could even get anyone to come out expect for the big events.

We have had a huge increase in the local people getting involved. I know that because of the track we have had atleast 10 new people purchase cars......

heading in the right direction.

with that i will ask another question.

how many would be interested in a in door off-road facility for the winter?

Brian,
Hope to see you & Brent the next two Saturdays ? LCRC & RT281 OK?
Think you guys will get a kick out of track, Shawn has alot of interesting moguls placed in track that can help you navigate or give ya some fits, challenging for the SC + spots you can air out the escale, I predict U will be the 1st over the fence prove me wrong
Take care
Eric

We still have your receiver. Do you need it before 2 weeks ? If not just remind us (Eric & Ty) that we still have it.
