Well from dover you're looking at a 20 minute ride tops.

Track update!

Everything has been cleared with the landlord and he's good with it. The paper work for the town has been filled out and the fees paid. The town said they will take up to a week to let us know if we will get the C.O. So now we just sit and wait on the town.

Hell yeah! Good to hear.

One request can it be dirt and not clay? Clay is a pita to clean off.

Good news. Lets keep our fingers cross and hope everything works out. We need more tracks close by the tri state area. The only bad thing about this is that it might be only electric. A few of my friends and i only run nitro.

Nice update. Wouldnt get to excited though. Past expierence dealing with west paterson government officials is anything can happen. Nothings in it for them. They make no money off you so they dont give a hoot.

Im keeping my fingers crossed cause we sure could use the buisness a track would bring.

That's true. I know we are staying away from baseball clay. If we do go with dirt/topsoil it's gonna take some work getting out all the rocks.

I've been the same way for years with only nitro. I've recently picked up a hyper sc and converted one of my crt.5. Gotta go with what's around. Too long to wait from november to april.

I was thinking of talking to the head of the building department, I've known him for years. Maybe he can help us out on that end?

what would be cool is start a 1/8th nitro indoor track first since there isn't one around here , i live in lodi ,nj . then if u have room outdoors have a 1/8th
track outdoors and have big races in the summer and have winter racers in doors . also have prize money as gift certificate's to the hobby shop .

i really hope this turns out to be good bec i would love to run my nitro mugen mbx6 truggie and soon to be kyosho mp9 buggy all year long .
