Attention Racers
Due to lack of participation, ARC Raceway will no longer be open on Saturdays. The track will continue to be open for Sunday practice and major events.

There are a few reasons. The biggest one is that the layout is only changed.......maybe.......twice a year. Turnouts were HUGE (120+) for quite a while but when a layout was left unchanged for 5-6 months.....people lost their excitement and willingness to participate. As i see it, as time between fresh layouts started to increase, the turnout started to decrease....pretty simple.

August 4th is JBRL nitro series here at ARC. Sept 1st and 2nd is Sidewinder race... Are these races still happening here? Coming up soon and no talk on here at all.

Yes, these are still happening. Dan is working this weekend to get ready for JBRL. See you all there on the 4th.

I just confirmed with Dan that the track WILL be open for JBRL practice this Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Practice fee is $10.

Default 2012 Sidewinder Nitro Explosion
The 9th Annual Sidewinder Nitro Explosion will be held at ARC Raceway on September 1-2. Qualifying will be on Saturday with main events on Sunday. There WILL be a new track layout for this race. In addition, the track will be open for practice on Friday August 31st. Click on the flyer for all the details (PDF file).
