I know I've asked this several times before but are any monster trucks showing up?

Track is open for practice on Fridays 3:00 to 10:00. Racing is Sundays. Racing starts about 5:00 but the track opens at 3:00.

At this time, no monster trucks are racing.

The web site is old. Obviously has not been updated. Visit us on Facebook at The Official Rockfield Adventures RC Raceway for more up to date info and updates.

Last night was a blast! With the exception of the couple of guys that had to yell and bitch about the VOLUNTEER turn marshals not flipping their trucks (that they themselves wrecked) the instant it happened.
None the less it was a blast. The "Bat Bash" was awesome. Racing in the pitch black while using the leds on your truck or a taped on flashlight as the only way to see! How cool was that!? It was put on by Colerain Hobbies and the winner won a spectrum controller. It was a good time.

Yes there was alot of that going on Sunday night. It is a small track and with so many trucks running it is hard at times to get to a flipped over truck.

Fun place to race. I enjoyed running there last winter. Hope to get back there soon, as soon as outdoor (nitro) season is over. Looking for a Losi 22 if anyone knows of one for sale locally. LMK.

Cecil might have one at Rockfield that he is looking to sell. I think he might still have it available.

Default Classes

What classes are you all running on Sunday? I would like to run 2wd buggy and 2wd SCT. I also have an 11-year old that would probably need to run in a novice class....if that's avaialble. Also, did the timing system ever get sorted out? Thanks!!

Last Sunday there was 2wda sct, 4wd sct, open wheel, and there was a novice sign up sheet so the class is available but no one had signed up. I ll drive novice if Cecil is alright with it. I've only been on a track with my truck 5 times so im not real good with it yet. Its a good time.

Thanks, Flatline!! I've been to the track before but not since the expansion. So, what's up with the timing system? Is it an AMB system? Thanks again!!

Not amb, it is a lap counting type. Its $5 to buy a transponder type thingy that you keep. Cecil says that they are really durable as long as you don't bend or crease them. Can't beat 5 bucks for a reusable transponder!
The expansion has doubled the track size and the pits are bigger too. It had been several months since I had been there too. Im guessing it was around the same time that you were last there because they were still working the bugs ouat of the timing system.
