Regarding compound, I would agree with Matt...Personally, I love a real challenge, and if my vote mattered, I would say no compound at all.
But then, if there IS an odorless option out there...I suspect there'd be no way to tech that?
As for oderless , check out Niftech compound. Its awesome. Apply, walk away, and race. No smell, no dirty hands..

How about running a USVTA class? 1/10 TC chassis, put in a 21.5 motor and 2S Li-po, and that's it. Just a thought. SK class seems interesting as well.

the problem with TC is cost it is very expensive and the track area is very small its good for 1/12 but i think its to tight for 1/10 but you know if there is enough to fill a class we will try to run them

Depends on the car. Tamiya TTO1 s' are just over $100. To get them ready for VTA, just under $200. You basically need the car, body, HPI wheels and tires, and a 21.5 motor. Most people already have 2s lipos' and escs'.The car is durable as all hell. TCs' are all not that much larger than 1/10th pan cars. It's all on how much you want to spend. I have mine all ready to go.
