I just bought the batt Sat and noticed it was puffed in the pkg and was told to call Venum tonight rather than exchange it there at the store. Never even had the chance to use it. So I think I may take a break for a bit.

We did have a few of the 5000 40c packs up in Winsted that were bad brand new, but Venom always makes good on em. I just figured Raul was re-packaging his used/abused stuff and sending em back!

First, I would never sell a lipo that is swelled. At my shop we do battery inspections every 30 days, if they sit that long.. Also if I had that battery on the shelf, to replace the puffed one, youd bet your ass he'd be walking out of my shop with a new battery. Even worse, the customer shouldnt have to call Venom and file a claim for a brand new battery. Thats why we are here, as a retailer.

Vintage Schu, if you need help replacing your battery call me at 203-588-9843 after 10am today. I am there until 3.

I bought the battery at Pin shop on Sat the same time I ordered the speed control and the motor. I brought the batt by yesturday and was told I would have a better/faster chance of getting it replaced if I contacted the company. So... I contacted Venum and did the whole water thing and have to wait for them to ship me a new one.

Now that I talked to everybody and have all the Info. I will explain to you and everybody else on the forum what happened. You stopped by the shop yesterday on a day that we were closed to exchange a battery that you bought on Saturday that was puffed in the package. We do not have another one in stock and our stock order are done on Monday nights so Pat told you to call Venom to get the pack replaced because it would be faster than waiting until next Monday when we do our order again. CORRECT????

If Venom is going to take longer than that Please let me know and I will have the same Lipos back in stock to replace it for you. As for the Viper System I will have them in stock on Friday.
