i need to see how you guys are laying out the electronics.
a 6 cell batt doesn't fit underneath so i have my electronics taped to the underside of the chassis, makes me nervous.

You have to move one of the round cross links to put the battery underneath then zip tie it in. I can't remember but there are extra holes that you can use no drilling required. If you have them the way the directions call for the 6 cell wont fit. These cars were set up for a 4 cell but when do you see those now? The 6 cell nickles are cheap and fit fine. Then you can install all your electronics on top were its safe. That heavy nickle on top will not handle well. If you PM me your cell # I'll send you a couple pics when I get home.

I thought I would get this thread going again..........I know it's suppose to be winter, and you guys are running the indoor oval, but when can we start racing outside. 50 degree temps are o.k. in my book, just like fall. At least let's make a plan for working on the new layout! Guys let me know, the weather is with us........Let's do this!
