I drove by the other day to check out the new track layout. Looks really good. You guys did a great job. I just wonder if my old Bandit can handle it.

Currently they don't run a class for your Bandit. They may throw you in the SC class. As for the track it flows really well and is also very fun. We are racing on Sun. Stop by and check it out........

I probably will stop by. I know my step-son wants to try out the rock crawling course in the shop. Friday is his birthday, and on Easter I decided to give him my new Losi Mini Crawler.

Is there a sportsman class for newbies like me to run in? Only racing experience I have is from when I ran touring cars on the indoor track at RC Madness 11 years ago, and full-size autocrossing.

Are all the electric guys running brushless setups? I'd hate to be the only one running a brushed motor, but not ready to upgrade to brushless just yet since I might decide on investing in an SC truck. Too bad there are no carpet tracks locally. Driving up to RCM is just too far a trip to make it worth getting my old HPI TC up and running again, especially when there are 3 offroad tracks within 15 minutes of my house.

Ya, I believe all guys are running brushless setups. But as long as you have good batteries you should be competitive. If you are going to spend the money, get a good lipo. Makes the world of difference. Especially in stock (SC) racing. I just got back into about three years ago (from 12 years) and I couldn't believe the technoligical advances in the hobby. Stop by and just wait until you see the brushless 1/8. They are awesome....... you will be hooked.....

Default RACING SUNDAY 5/1/11

Just a reminder we are racing this sunday 5/1/11. We will have the Mains from 4/16/11 Trophy Race Starting at 12pm. Then we will have a regular race program starting at approx 1pm.

The Weather looks good finally so we hope to have a good turnout.

Like Pat said, we don't want to compete with each other.....so we run Saturdays at noon. Perhaps Thursday nights as well. We'll see.

It'd be nice to get a Sporstman and SCT series going on.

Well this is our first sunday we have ever raced. We usally race on saturdays starting at 1pm and have been doing so for 4 years now. So much for not competing with each other.
