As far as a new oval layout, we thought it would be cool to have a few different set ups like they do in NASCAR, but it seems everyone is having a great time the way it is. It is actually fun. Those mini sprints are awesome, and we have some nascars that are flying. Mike's is HOOKED up out there.

O I know, but we were really thinking of having a circuit but the oval the way it is seems to be the most fun for those guys. They really do have a blast out there.
Wish I could be here tonight. Got a 12 pg paper due next week though.

after some practice laps last night on the new layout you either will like it or hate it but anybody with a good setup will do ok if they can drive a track and just not throw a big motor in and try to drive it

Default Passport Charger

Derek,
The charger I bought from you does not work at all. I plugged it in once and when I went to change the AMPS it just shut off, fan and all. Was this a new charger? Do you have the receipt because if it was new this should not have happened? Never even got to charge a battery with it yet.
ideas?
Thanks,
Gary

Default Associated T4.1 Aluminum Steering Parts

I'm trying to find T4.1 aluminum steering rack that replaces the original steering rack part 9659. I was told to go to STRC.com. I found a teamSTRC.com. I couldn't find that exact part. I see a Bulkhead and Steering Knuckle, but that is about it. I see quite a few for HPI. If you find one, could you post the part number?
Thanks I appreciate it.

STRC doesn't make b4/t4/sc10 bellcranks, but here are some good options:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Associated-B4-T4...-/300414858351

http://www.gpmracing.com/index.cgi?p...r=AT4048;c=144

Keep in mind that eliminating the servo saver will put a lot more strain on your servo any time you clip a pipe and a gear set for a good servo costs a lot more than plastic steering parts.

mark big andy said not a problem, we want to thank you and jessica for all of the help in the kitchen. You made our life a ton easier by doing that. I was not stuck on the stand all day and my dad wasnt stuck in the kitchen.

big andy also wanted to thank all of those who helped out with the track change not just this friday and sunday but those of you who help each time. You guys know who you are and we are very thankful.

I've seen two different aluminum bellcranks, Integy makes on that keeps the servo saver(part number T7848SILVER). GPM makes another that seems to eliminate the servo saver, I'm not sure of the part number.

I've bought heavy duty servo saver springs, tightened the hell out of them and still had mushy steering. It wasnt bad till I picked up high speed servos and the steering became really inconsistent....didnt bother picking up the aluminum rack, just glued the stock servo savers.
