ATTENTION RACERS: Starting Saturday Dec 1st we will start our On-Road program. Doors will open at Noon and racing @ 2pm. Please keep in mind that the current open/start times for Saturday will be fluid right now as we need to get a feel for what is convenient for most racers. Also we will do every other Saturday right now unless the demand is high, then we will do every Saturday. Right now we will run On-Road during the in-door winter season unless once again the demand is high for it during the warm season.

As for classes we are open to anything right now, so if you want to bring a buggy or stadium truck that will fine. Hope to see all 1/12th and 1/10th scale on-road cars.

Thank You
Tony

Due to recent increases in our operating costs, we have been forced to make the decision to increase our prices. As of January 1, 2013, the costs will be as follows:

For race days, price will be raised to $15 for the first car. Additional entries will remain $5 each.

Practice costs will be $10 for practice, and $15 to use a transponder. Also, for families the costs will
be $10 for the first person and $5 for each additional person.

Membership renewal pricing will remain the same: $25/year.

After further review of the situation, we will determine if we need to raise any food/drink prices. We thank you for your understanding in this matter, and thank you for your support of PT Raceway.

Just a reminder: Memberships will need to be renewed starting January 1, 2013. The purpose for the membership is to cover the cost of insurance for our customers. Included with your membership this year is a Birthday Club: each member will receive a $10 coupon in the mail during their birthday month. Bring this coupon in to the track to get $10 off your admission on race day.

It was a great weekend of racing at PT Raceway. Friday's off-road crowd had an excellent turn out. The 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes had some great competition. Sunday's Oval was a full house, with guests from the Hooters Tour and Rt. 281 Raceway. For the first time, we ran the Legends cars, which use RJ Speed chassis. This is a spec class that uses a slower motor, with lots of close racing action. We had 7 cars running; there was so much action on the track, it looked like the turn marshalls were trying to herd cats.

The Nastruck Dash-for-Cash points series began on Sunday. Competition was fierce and exciting - a great way to start the series. Mains results and series positioning are posted on the PT Raceway website (pt-raceway.com).

Next weekend is a full weekend of racing, with off-road on Friday night, on-road on Saturday afternoon, and oval on Sunday morning. We look forward to seeing you at PT Raceway this weekend!
