A couple of seconds before the late model A-main, Matt mentioned over the PA that "we should get a rolling start with a pace car". Anyone have any thoughts? If it would come to be, someone should video it... I am in for the rollin' start.

Just curious - is the is a LIPO charger with balancer included and is it AC powered. Also what is the price?

Thanks Mark.

Just looked at duratrax's add, and no mention of balancing, but it can do up to 8 amps.

Here is the manual, no mention of balancing:

Quick Question?
Does anyone know if the Custom Works 1/10 Rocket Chassis Late-Model is the same size as the SCT w/ the 1/8 Losi Body on it???

As far as I know, the Custom Works cars are more the size of a 1/10 touring car. Definitely smaller than the 1/8 late model body of the Losi.

I'll have a tote full of tires and foams for sale tomorrow at the track. Here's what I've got - some are fairly rare and haven't been made in years:

New Stadium Truck Tires: $5 a pair:

4 pairs of Pro-Line M3 Fuzzie T's (Discontinued) (2 to Tim)
1 pair Team Losi Red Multi-Rib Fronts
1 pair Team Losi Red Directional V-Rib Fronts
1 pair Red Losi Taper Pins
1 pair Red Losi Kingpins
1 pair Pro-Line M2 Snake Eyes (Discontinued)

New 1/10 Buggy Tires: $5 a pair:

2 pairs of original Pro-Line M3 Square Fuzzie tires (Discontinued)

Used Stadium Truck Tires:

Full set of Team Losi Pink BK Bars w/foams - $5
Pair of JConcepts White Bar Codes - free to a good home

4 New Losi Rear Buggy Foams - $5
New Trinity 1511 Bomb One Rear Buggy Foams - $3
New Trinity 1521 Bomb One Rear Buggy Foams - $3
1 pair JConcepts Blue Molded SC Foams - free to a good home

Yes gary it is a lipo charger that will charge up to 10 amps which is pretty high for chargers. It will also do other batteries as well. You can store up to 10 different battery "models" in it which is a nice feature for easy charging. It is only dc power. I am asking $50 for the charger and $70 for it with a lipo balancer as it does not have one built in which is also a nice feature. It works just fine and still has the protective plastic on it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Even though I don't run the class, I was thinking along the lines of a TC or pan car running a Camaro or Barracuda body. Something late 60's early 70's styling. but thats just my thought....

If anyone wants to paint up this Pro-Line Root Ripper golf cart body that I have, I could always mount it on my Twin Force and we could use that . . . . . .

Thanks, I was hoping for an AC one. I just bought the Associated RC10 2 wheel drive. So now my one lipo charger may not be enough with 3 vehicles that use lipo batteries. I'm thinking about getting the Onyx 245 which has 2 connections. We shall see.

I'm looking forward to racing the RC10.

If anyone happens to be interested in the entire lot, you can have it all for $50 - that's about 80% off retail.
i will take 2 pair of the truck fuzzies

I have the pan car and a light bar I'm building. Just need to paint up a pace car theme.

Matt, the root ripper pace car is a great idea! I also have an unpainted protoform pf8 I would donate(as long as someone would come up with an epic PT Pacecar Paint scheme.) It fits a slash chassis perfectly(I think I have some chassis and traxxas parts I could donate also for the build, just let me know!)

I have a brand new Traxxas stock 1/16 erevo battery($10), and a new 1/8 castle 1512 1800kv motor ($45) for sale on Sun. I will bring the 1/8 pf8 body also to donate to the pace car.

EDIT: Forgot the body, DOH!
