It is an open practice session between 12-2, after that racing begins and we usually have about a 5-10 minute break between rounds to practice if needed. We have been getting 1-2 novice drivers lately, but they are good enough to be able to run with the older guys so they have not had their own class. Before summer roller around we were getting at least 4 novice drivers each week.Hopefully they start to trickle back in since the weather is turning.

Lol, well i'm a novice racer also, so you may have 2 more for the class every other sunday

No, I felt so crappy last night that I didn't even work on it. Just gives me more time to do it right instead of rushing it.

Usually, it takes a full year to plan an event like this, with making all the arrangements, scheduling, advertising, marketing, getting various companies to donate food, prizes, etc. These guys are doing a year's work in mere months. This is their first time and I think they are doing a great job at organizing!

It has always been a work in progress and they've announced the latest as things have firmed up. Things are fluid and dynamic because this is the track's first benefit race. I hope there are more next year, maybe once or twice a year!

Default For sale

I have the following equipment & vehicles for sale at the track:

Stock Traxxas Slash 2wd SC truck, includes manual, tools, original barely used stock tires and a 2nd set of S1 (soft) BF Goodrichs on rims, new shocks. Because of Traxxas' durability, this is an ideal novice's truck. It is set up for carpet according to Steve Slayden's setup. For the roller, I'm asking $100, with Traxxas AM radio $115, with Losi 2.4 DSM radio $125.

Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 RS 4wd buggy with upgrades, including threaded body shocks. Includes a shoe box full of parts, including several sets of wheels, stock brushed motor & servo included along with a gallon bag of spare parts. Asking $100.

RARE limited special edition, new in box Traxxas mini-Slash 4x4 VXL brushless sytem, manual and all accessories, includes 2.4 TQ radio, Jerry Whelchel edition (yellow front, blue rear) can be converted to mini-Revo by purchasing extra parts. The Jerry Whelchel edition is no longer being made. This was a special edition exclusively for A Main Hobbies. I did open the box, charge the battery and drive it around my living room. It is in cherry condition. Paid $300, asking $250.

The Toyz carry-bag for 1/16 size vehicle. Includes built-in pit mat & shoulder strap. Paid $60. Asking $40.

Lift-N-Lock tackle box/parts container, blue & grey, barely used, looks new, paid $55 at Hobby Express. Asking $40.

PM me or contact me below.
